Lunella Restaurante in New York City

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The food is phenomenal. I came 5 years ago with some friends for the first time. Now, every time I come to the City, I make it appoint to have a meal here. The service is friendly and welcoming.

Super friendly staff, excellent food. We all had different pasta dishes, and they gave us free lemoncello! Too much food.

They have some of the best tasting pasta in town. Fast & efficient service and a very cozy atmosphere. Would love to come here again and again... Thumbs up!

Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, we stopped to have a cappuccino and dessert and enjoyed the shade and the gentle breeze.We had eaten in Chinatown before our stole or would have eaten here.If there Chocolate Mousse is any indication of their meals, it must be outstanding.

It is my second visit and it is absolutely amazing. In my opinion it is the best restaurant on Mulberry street. Every dish I tried here is absolutely to my taste. This food is as close to the authentic Italian homemade food as it can get. I will definitely come back again.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Little Italy. Nice staff, good food, family oriented and very friendly. I suggest the linguini fruti de mare and as appetizer egg-plant carpacio- fantastic! Their Montepulciano is just fair and a very affordable price. A must go restaurante!

Very good and reasonable. Service excellent

My roommates, one of their families and I made a reservation here. We sat down and the kind gentleman at the front served us water immediately (it was very hot outside). I was happy with the menu, but the people I was with decided they wanted somewhere with more pasta options, and switched to a different restaurant:/ I just wanted to apologize to the gentleman that served us, and that I was very grateful to have the experience and the service that we did. Thank you!

Lunella was fantastic. I ate there once a few years ago and thought it was some of the best Italian food I have ever had in the states. I happened to be in the city again last night and went looking for it. I can say without a doubt it did not disappoint. I will be back next time I am in New York City.

Amazing staff. Amazing food. A must go

Ended up here on a Saturday evening after not being able to get through at two desired restaurants (due to long wait times and being booked out). I was disappointed to find pizza missing from the menu. Despite that, I was able to find a pasta dish that I liked- Fettuccine Rossanna- after ordering the calamari appetizer. The calamari came out quickly and was lightly fried. Our entrees took a bit longer. Once they came our waiter was hard to reach and we ended having to ask another waiter to bring black pepper and Parmesan. The waiter is a main reason why my review is 4 stars and not 5. He was a bit pushy about us ordering drinks and an appetizer and then ignored us after we received our order.

Our party of 6 was actually headed across the street and were told we couldn’t be seated. We were tired and ready to sit down so we thought what the heck, if across the street can take us we are going in. We were seated very quickly and our food was AMAZING. Probably one of my most favorite while in NYC. Good atmosphere, kind wait staff and like I said great food. Can’t get any better than that. I had meat ravioli and I’m still thinking about it. Authentic food and nice staff.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed when I picked up an order for my birthday. There was no bread. The veal was not that good and you and your staff were not wearing PPE.Sorry you should try and do better!

Awful, stay away. 1.5 hrs to get 2 appetizers, eggplant came stuck to the plate. We were told they didn't have a wine list, but the table next to us had one. They were never actually able to order wine though because the server never came back. I was appalled they still charged us and so was another table we were commiserating with. Half of their table left after an hour of not getting their food, the table next to us left without eating and refused to pay since the pasta was crunchy, and another table left without ever getting their food.

Wonderful service and fantastic food.

The food and service was exceptional!! If I lived in Manhattan I would eat there a lot. So yummy!👍
